MISHAWAKA, Ind. — Notre Dame pre-college students teamed up with United Way to help out Michiana area food banks on Saturday.

Many food pantries across Michiana are very low on food and supplies right now.

The students set up camp outside local grocery stores like Whole Foods in Mishawaka to ask shoppers to donate some of their food. Students say most shoppers were very giving and eager to help out for a good cause.
