Erica Futa

As the Program Coordinator, Erica coordinates Teachers as Scholars (TAS) which is a dynamic vision of professional development for K-12 teachers- and is a vital collaboration between public and private school teachers and the faculty at the University of Notre Dame. She will also provide support for EngageND, United Way Campaign, and ND Economic Impact Study.

Erica Futa started at the University of Notre Dame in June 2014 in the Office of Outreach & Engagement Recruitment. She moved into an Interim Assistant Director position and helped cultivate the NDignite Connection program were she designed and oversaw the academic programming for NDignite Connection, Digication e-portfolio, and the NDignite Connection LIVE broadcast.

Erica Futa earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in 2010 from the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program. Erica taught Language Arts and Reading for 6 years at St. Adalbert and Holy Cross Grade School. She has been involved in the local catholic school as a substitute teacher, coach, volunteer, and parishioner. Prior to teaching, she has worked in various administrative and customer service positions.
