At 4:30 a.m. on Friday, June 1, Mayor Buttigieg met the LEGO Robotics team at the Robinson Community Learning Center to wish them well on their trip to Mannheim, Germany to compete in the Open European Championchip June 7-9.
The team is comprised of 10 students aged 10-15 from South Bend area schools. The team first won the state tournament in December. As the recipients of the top prize they won the opportunity to travel abroad.
