The University of Notre Dame held a Community Leaders Advent Prayer Service and Holiday Reception on December 7. Guests representing the region's nonprofits, government offices, colleges and universities, businesses and the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi attended. President Rev. John I. Jenkins, C.S.C., led the prayer service in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and hosted the reception in the Main Building Rotunda. It’s the first time the event was held since 2019, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
