As the Director for Community Relations at the University of Notre Dame, Jessica focuses on building partnerships with local nonprofits and community groups while working with faculty, staff and students to promote engagement within our community.
Jessica represents Notre Dame on various community initiatives and is an active board and committee member with the South Bend Alumni Association, Saint Joseph Health System’s Community Benefit Council, Harper Cancer Research Institute’s Community Engagement Steering Committee, the Michiana YMCA’s Healthy Living Advisory Board. She serves as a Steering Committee member for the St. Joseph County Health Improvement Alliance and works on various committees for the United Way of St. Joseph County. Jessica is also a member of the Advisory Board for Community Health Partnerships (CHeP) to improve the health of Indiana residents through community-university partnerships.
In the Office of Public Affairs, Jessica directs the annual Economic Impact Report and the United Way Campaign and partners with the Nonprofit Executive Programs in the Mendoza College of Business on the Nonprofit Breakfast Series offered each spring semester to our nonprofit colleagues in the community.
Jessica has done extensive work with the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the United Way of St. Joseph County (UWSJC) and was honored in 2012 with the Dedication Award from ACS and the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016 from UWSJC.
