Kelly Demski
Public Affairs Associate
As Public Affairs Associate, Kelly is responsible for managing and overseeing several areas within the Office of Public Affairs and Communications, including charitable contributions, the public affairs database, Teachers as Scholars program, media relations, and the department budgets. She provides executive level support to the Associate Vice President for Public Affairs, Assistant Vice President of News and Media Relations and the staff within the Office of Public Affairs.
Kelly joined the Public Affairs team in October of 2022 after returning to the South Bend area from an eight-year adventure in Maryland. Her professional background is in healthcare, education, and fitness management with previous careers locally at Culver Academies and Northwest Health (formerly IU Health Laporte Hospital).
Originally from southwest Pennsylvania, Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania and her master’s degree in education from Western Michigan University.
Kelly resides in South Bend with her husband, Gary.
