Libby Mountsier is the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Associate Vice-President of Public Affairs at the University of Notre Dame. In her current role, Libby coordinates the AVP calendar, departmental meetings, CRM database, sponsorship events, charitable events, and oversees the various administrative responsibilities of the Public Affairs office. Libby serves as the administrative liaison for state and local elected officials, community members, and visitors where she is the first point of contact for the division. In addition, she manages the calendars and events for the Director of Community Engagement and the Associate Director of Public Affairs as well. Libby started at the University of Notre Dame in 2011 as the Senior Administrative Assistant to the Associate Vice President in Development.
Libby earned her Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from Purdue University. Prior to working at Notre Dame, Libby worked for Penn-Harris- Madison School Corporation for 12 years as an Administrative Assistant in IT, Payroll Assistant, and Learning Lab Coordinator. She started her career as an Accounting Manager at Purdue University-Calumet.
Libby enjoyed serving the community by volunteering at her children’s school and various church activities. She currently enjoys spending time attending Barre fitness classes, spin classes and with family and friends.
